At the heart of JY Dance lies the visionary leadership of Judy Yiu, the first Doctor of Education candidate in Hong Kong focused on dance education. With over 20 years of international teaching experience, Judy has dedicated her life to empowering others through the transformative power of movement.

Judy's journey began in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, where she immersed herself in diverse styles, from the dynamic energy of gymnastics to graceful lines of contemporary dance. This comprehensive training has infused the JY Dance program with a unique blend of technical mastery and artistic expression.

 

Learning Through Performance

The JY Dance program, launched in 2017 in collaboration with Renaissance College, is designed for students of all ages and abilities. With an emphasis on "Learning Through Performance," our curriculum focuses on providing high-quality training in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. From the excitement of Musical Theatre to the lively rhythms of Hip-Hop, each class is tailored to highlight our students' strengths, fostering creative exploration and a positive body image.​
